PHILIPS 18 WATT COB LIGHT
What does COB mean?
COB is short for Chip On Board. It describes the technology behind COB LEDs, which refer to packaged LED chips mounted in direct contact with silicon carbide or sapphire substrates. COB technology offers high LED intensity in a small footprint. This is an LED light that you can place anywhere and light things up for hours. You can stand it up, mount it on a floor lamp, place it in your study or take it with you. COB lights allow you to change the direction and intensity of the light as needed and maintain the setting for a long time. Structurally, a COB light is a group of LED chips close together. You can’t see any gaps between the LED chips because they are so compact. As a result, COB lights produce a very even and sharp beam. Don’t worry, you can dim the light and use accessories to soften it.
THE COB LIGHT HAS MANY DIFFERENT ADVANTAGES
1. First of all, they are reliable, affordable and comfortable. It’s also relatively small compared to older traditional lights, which makes it easy to transport. PHILIPS 18watt COB light provide bright light without emitting much heat.
2. Even if you don’t mind heat, it can definitely affect your subject, especially if you’re shooting people with makeup, small children, animals, or heat-sensitive subjects like ice cream.
3. Another advantage of the 18watt COB light is that they produce uniform light effect. It provides a powerful and uniform light capable of illuminating large areas and covering multiple targets.
4. They also don’t produce the multi-shadow effect you might expect from other types of LED lights. As with all continuous lighting systems, you can see the effects of the light before you take the shot. You’ll be able to see exactly what part of the scene is lit, how the light falls on each element of the frame, and what adjustments need to be made.
